MHUSG-series mounts are ultra-stable, all-steel holders specifically designed for 25.4-mm (1-in.), 30mm, and 50.8-mm (2-in.) laser cavity mirrors. They feature a gimble design that not only reduces cross-talk but also cuts beam path deviations during alignment. The mount uses axial, 6-point mirror mounting method to limit wavefront distortion. The MHUSG mounts are available with either micrometer or differential screw actuation. Adjustment sensitivity with the micrometer version is 10 arcsec, however, the differential version has an amazing 1-arcsec sensivity. Although they are available in imperial or metric versions, the only difference is the base plate mounting hole pattern. Metric base plates have 50mm mounting hole spacing for M6 screws, imperial base plates have 2 in. mounting hole spacing for 1/4-20 screws, clearly made for optical table or breadboard mounting.
