Neutral Density Variable Filters

Variable Neutral Density Filters have a neutral density (optical density) which varies as a function of angle or a function of distance. A rotationally varying neutral density filter is useful in a rotary mount to change the neutral density value as a function of rotation angle.  A dimensionally varying neutral density filter has a neutral density which varies as a function of length and works well with a translation stage to vary the optical density.
