The OptoSigma® PC / USB Power Meter sensors operate with a simple connection to a USB port on a standard PC. No additional power supplies or controllers are required. The microelectronic circuitry, which enables this to work, is integrated in the sensor head cable. The sensor heads are composed of the thermopile detector, housing, embedded electronics and the cable with USB termination.
