Beam collimation checkers (SPV-25/SPUV-25) are shear interferometers of the simplest design, used to examine the parallelism of laser beam expanders (collimators).
Evaluation of the beam status on the μrad order is made possible by inserting a collimation checker in the optical axis, eliminating much of the time and labor required to adjust the optical axis and providing a superior quality beam.
