1.5 x 1.5 x 3.0mm Extended Right-Angle Micro Prism, Two-Photon Endoscopic Imaging, Protected-Aluminum Coated Hypotenuse

160712BK01

Two-photon calcium imaging of deep brain structures using these micro prisms as the medium allows for reliable tracking of thousands of cells across days, a marked improvement compared with the standard practice of using gradient-index (GRIN) lenses.
This micro prism has a 1.5 x 1.5mm square cross-section and an extruded length of 3mm. One end of the prism has a 45-degree cut, and this surface is covered by a protected aluminum optical coating. The 45-degree hypotenuse and the surfaces that measure 1.5 x 3.0mm and 1.5 x 1.5mm have a flatness of lambda/4.
