Motorized Zoom Laser Beam Expanders

These new beam expanders are unique not just because they are motorized, but also because of their zoom feature.  Manual beam expanders have a single, fixed magnification e.g. 3X or 5X etc.  BEZM expanders have variable (not fixed) magnification up to 8X, which means you can set the exact magnification you need as long it’s between 1X and 8X.  The optical design supports a wider wavelength band than conventional products.  The lens element design takes wavefront aberration into consideration and enables use in advanced optical systems such as interferometers and laser processing.  Beam expanders are useful laser accessories when the beam diameter must be increased. However, their main function is to decrease the divergence of the laser beams which are to be projected over long distances.
