FPSAN Fine-pitch Adjustment Screws are intended as direct replacements for the micrometers used on OptoSigma stages but can also be used for any application requiring high-resolution adjustment. They are available in two sizes, M4 and M6, and have three mounting shank diameters: 6mm, 9.5mm, and 10mm. They are also available with two different thread pitches for each M4 and M6 size. The thread pitches are 0.50mm per thread (0.50P) and 0.25mm per thread (0.25P). Most micrometers have a 0.50mm thread pitch. Thread pitch is the distance between adjacent screw threads and represent how far the screw will travel in one full rotation, therefore the smaller thread pitch provides higher resulution.. Knobs are available and sold separately in either hex-key or screw-on types.

The adjustment screws can be locked with the clamp set screw. The clamping is carried out with a nylon-tip set screw, which does not damage the threads with the spindle.
Since the flat-type tip is compatible with OptoSigma manual stages and holders, the change of specifications is available. And R-type with a spherical tip is also available.
