Stainless Steel Linear Slides

The IPWS series stages are unique free-sliding stages, without springs or a micrometer. Made from hardened 440C stainless steel, larger versions feature not two but three of Opto Sigma's EXC precision bearing ways. The third bearing way is located along the exact center of the stage enabling load capacities that are 5X higher than similarly-sized stages. These bearing ways are not separate parts, as with competing stages, but processed directly into the body and base of the stage resulting in the highest stiffness, straightness and smoothness of any stage on the market. IPWS stages are designed for inclusion into OEM designs and systems.
